Since most of our guests will be traveling to the island, we wanted to share a few recommended areas to stay to help you plan the kind of Hawaiian getaway you’re dreaming of. We highly encourage you to make a trip out of our wedding—whether you’re staying for a full week, turning it into a vacation, or joining us for a quick 3-day escape, we know you’ll fall in love with your time on the island. Oʻahu offers so many incredible places to stay, from lively beachfront hotels to more relaxed, resort-style escapes, and we’re confident you’ll find the perfect fit for your trip.
Please note that Lanikai, located in the Kailua area, does not have hotels and has very limited vacation rentals available.

Why Ko Olina?
If you’re dreaming of a more relaxed, resort-style Hawaiian stay, Ko Olina may be just what you’re looking for.
Our wedding venue is located here, in one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas on the island. Think stunning lagoons, sunset views, and that laid-back island atmosphere that makes you instantly slip into vacation mode. Nearby resorts include Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina. These hotels are just minutes from our wedding venue and offer a more peaceful, luxury-style experience. They do tend to be on the pricier side, but if you’re hoping for a relaxing, resort-focused vacation, Ko Olina is an incredible place to stay.
We’ve reserved room blocks at two hotels here: Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach and OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort. Both are located in the heart of Waikiki, just steps from the beach and surrounded by shopping, restaurants, and lively streets. Staying in Waikiki puts you right in the center of the action while still giving you a comfortable place to relax after a day in the sun. Some perks? Waikiki often offers more flexible price points and plenty to explore within walking distance, making it a fun and convenient home base for your vacation. Following our wedding, shuttles will be available back to Waikiki to continue the celebration! Transportation to the wedding celebration will be provided via shuttle from Waikiki. For exploring the rest of the island, Ubers are easy to find, and we’re happy to share rental car recommendations if you’d prefer to have your own wheels.
